Citizens for Renewing America is looking to hire four qualified candidates to serve as Grassroots Coordinators in one of the following four regions, Arizona, Florida, Texas & Oklahoma, and Tennessee & Georgia to work alongside activists and identify strategies that will help elevate America First policy fights. 

An ideal candidate shares our thesis that for far too long much of the GOP Establishment has shied away from the cultural fights that energize our voters, ceding nearly every aspect of our society to the Left and dangerous ideologies like cultural marxism. This role would require strategic thinking on ways to resist overreach by officials at all levels of government, from woke school boards, soft-on-crime District Attorneys, and state COVID czars, to Congress and the federal bureaucracy being used to wage war on culture and way of life

One year of on-the-job experience working with conservative political and advocacy campaigns or grassroots groups is preferred. Candidates should know how to design and implement effective activism strategies to draw media and voter attention to the Left’s attempts at remaking our communities. 

The Grassroots Coordinator will work remotely and should reside in the region they cover, ideally in a central activist hub. This position will entail travel, significant interactions with grassroots activists, and require in-person attendance at political meetings throughout the region.

While working to help pick and resource key cultural fights, the Grassroots Coordinator will be expected to identify leaders to participate in the organization’s weekly national grassroots conference call led by Russ Vought, President of Citizens for Renewing America, while also serving as an instructor and coach for new activists. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Write and produce grassroots educational and advocacy communications.
• Assist the Executive Director on strategic initiatives and policy goals with activists on the ground.
• Identify emerging America First issues at the ground level and work with the policy team to produce materials to help elevate those efforts.
• Travel on behalf of Citizens for Renewing America to network and establish contact with the various activists and groups in the assigned region. Most travel will be local on a day to day basis.
• Speak publicly on behalf of Citizens for Renewing America.
• Responsible for activist relationship services (taking activist phone calls, answering questions, addressing activist needs, sending materials when requested, managing general correspondence).
• Develop relationships with state and local lawmakers, governors, and other executive level elected officials.
• Excellent and consistent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines with little direct oversight.
• Experience and ability in writing, editing, and the use of various spreadsheet applications.
